MCP servers: connect your tools
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a standard for exposing tools to an agent. Declare your server and test the connection: the discovered tools (never invoked during the test) can then be attached to the bot.
- Transport: http (Streamable HTTP) or sse. The server name uses lowercase letters, digits and dashes (2 to 30 characters).
- Custom headers (for example Authorization) to authenticate the platform with your server.
- The MCP page offers a catalog of candidate servers and shows the connection status of your workspace.
- Write clear tool descriptions: they drive the bot's decision (when to call, when not to call).
- Private addresses (localhost, internal network) are refused by default — SSRF protection. Expose the server over public HTTPS.
